“Bee” Safe and Happy!

Bee Happy
Quarantine advice for ADHDers.

Have you noticed that we’ve started to appreciate the little things? It wasn’t long ago that my kids and I would run through our daily schedule each morning to keep us on track (a morning schedule review is a great tool for us ADHDers!). I felt like we never lived in the moment, but instead, always wondered what was next.

Today, the rare socially distant walk with a friend means so much more. I find that that one simple event is enough to make the day, or even a few days, special.

As quarantine restrictions are slowly eased, it will be easy to get caught up in packing our calendars again. This is especially the case for us ADHDers who crave interaction and activity. Instead, and this will take practice, take the time to be in the moment, “bee” safe and happy!
